On the basis of the great success we have obtained with the new machine for testing the complete bicycle as required by the European Standards (Mod. ML 401 XPC) and since we have had big request from our Clients, Marchetti is glad to inform that it is under construction also a new machine for the complete testing of the assembled wheel, that certifies its conformity:
ML 501 XPR – MACHINE FOR THE WHOLE TESTING ON BICYCLE WHEEL ON THE BASIS OF THE FOLLOWING EUROPEAN STANDARDS:
EN 14764 City and trekking bicycles
Also in this case the machine has been designed to satisfy the new standards drawn up in JULY 2006 and issued on the EUROPEAN GAZETTE; standards that the CEN member countries will be obliged to follow (CEN COUNTRIES: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, CzechRepublik, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom).
The ML 501 XPR is able to test wheels from 12” to 28” diam., both for standard and double wall rims. Electronic control of test time; in case the ML 501 XPR realize errors in the wheel and /or the tyre burst the machine automatically stops the test.
